Howard M. Fuhrmann
Howard M. Fuhrmann, 76, of Maywood, died Friday, May 2.
Born in Trenton, he was a physics teacher and served as chairman of the science department at Hackensack High School for 37 years. Elected to Phi Delta Kappan Fraternity that acknowledges excellence in education. An active long-time member of NJ Science Teacher's Association, he conducted workshops around the country. He served as Treasurer of NJ Science Convention for 29 years, on the NJ Science Supervisor committee, the NJEA and many other National Committees. Past President of the Belmar Fishing Club Holding Co.
Beloved husband of Anna (nee Allcroft). Devoted father of Bruce and Beverly. Dear brother of Gail Chevalier and her husband, Ed. Uncle of John, Lori and Julie. Loving grandfather of Austin, Mercedes, Jessica, Justin and Rebecca. Great-grandfather of Taj.

Teresa L. Ziegelhofer
Teresa L. Ziegelhofer, 30, of Hackensack, died on Friday, May 2.
She had worked as a surgical technician with the North Jersey Surgical Center of Englewood Cliffs, Holy Name Hospital in Teaneck, and most recently worked for the Cliffside Animal Hospital in Cliffside Park. She was a parishioner of Holy Trinity R. C. Church of Hackensack.
Beloved daughter of Walter and Barbara (nee Dean) Ziegelhofer. Dearest sister of Bryan Ziegelhofer of Hackensack, Gary Ziegelhofer of Peekskill, N.Y., Tracy Ziegelhofer of Hackensack and Sherri Ziegelhofer of Hackensack.
The funeral from the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union St., Hackensack, was followed by Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Trinity R. C. Church, 34 Maple Ave., Hackensack. Cremation was at Cedar Lawn Crematory.
The family requests that her memory is honored with donations to F.A.F.S. "Foster Adoptive Family Services," PO Box 518, Monmouth Junction, NJ 08852 for the Teresa Ziegelhofer Scholarship.
Carolyn A. Fonti
Carolyn A. (nee De Stefano) Fonti, 85, of Hackensack, died on Sunday, May 4.
Prior to retiring in 1984, she owned Fonti's Luncheonette of Hackensack where many gathered to enjoy her quick wit and sense of humor. She was an avid Yankee fan, a great cook, loved ballroom dancing, a card game, a good laugh and the company of her family and friends. She was a parishioner of Holy Trinity R. C. Church and a member of the Rosary Society.
Beloved wife of the late Albert Fonti. Devoted mother of Bernadine Fonti of Hackensack, Micheline Esposito and her husband Anthony of Eatontown, Kathleen Fonti of Rochelle Park, Albert Fonti and his wife Linda of Wayne and Maureen Bruno and her husband Vincent of Bayville. Cherished grandmother of Carrie, Seth, Jennifer, Maggie, Albert, Nicholas, Christopher, Michelle, Michael and Thomas. Dearest sister of Dr. Thomas De Stefano of Leonia, Estelle Troisi and her husband William of Toms River and the late Regina Marrella.

Linda (nee Velazquez) Grehanov, of Belleville, formerly of Lyndhurst, died May 2.
As a child Linda grew up in Hoboken and Hackensack and was a graduate of Hackensack High School. She was an administrative assistant for Atlantic Tanning Distributors in Ridgefield.
Beloved wife of George. Loving mother of Tiana. Cherished daughter of Margaret and Jesus Velazquez of Hackensack. Dear sister of Daniel and Edward Velazquez of Hackensack, Mary and Al Palumbo, Betty Velazquez, Kathleen Velazquez and Mark Newman of Lyndhurst, and the late David Velazquez. Beloved companion of Mike Pigna. Devoted Aunt of Jennifer and Valerie Palumbo of Lyndhurst and Taylor Velazquez of Ridgefield.

Frank J. Lapetina
Frank J. Lapetina, of Hackensack, died Sunday, May 4.
Loving father of Allison and Francine Lapetina and their mother Patricia Lapetina. Beloved son of Vivian Lapetina. Dear brother of Elizabeth F. Cantliffe and her husband Daniel. Cherished uncle of Christine Mullally, Deanna Majeski, Danielle Cummings and Cheri McTureous.
Memorial Mass at Church of Our Lady of Good Counsel, Township of Washington. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Frank's name to the Juvenile Diabetes Association, Englewood Cliffs, NJ.
Ann Montesano
Ann Montesano, 84, of Warwick, NY, formerly of Hackensack, died Monday, May 5.
She was the daughter of Leslie and Anna Braun Lynch. She raised her family in Hackensack, had resided in Warwick, N.Y. for the past 10 years. She was married to the late Rocco R. Montesano. Mrs. Montesano graduated from William Paterson University and taught at Bergenfield and Hackensack schools. She also worked in the Maywood Library. She was a parishioner of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Warwick and a member of the Grand Dames.
She is survived by her children: Joseph Montesano and his wife Kim, Frank Montesano and his wife Joanne, Charles Montesano and his wife Donna, Susan Connolly and her husband Mark, James Montesano and his wife Nancy, Roy Montesano, Rosanne Rotondo and her husband James; also survived by 23 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Interment was in George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Brian Ahearn Children's Fund, PO Box 550, Warwick, NY 10990 or Huntington Chorea Foundation (www.curehd.org).

He worked for Jannet International of Hackensack in telesales. He was a member of B.P.O E. # 658 of Hackensack.
Devoted son of Ida (nee Urbani) and the late Frank Segreti. Dearest brother of Alfred Segreti and his wife Kathryn. Prayer service was held at the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union St. in Hackensack.
